Annual MWH Invitational Tournament

Well you may be asking yourselves what the hell is the MWH invitational tournament.....

The tournament is Sponsored by Hidden-Gamer.com, which is a new gaming company soon to launch in the UK in June 2011.

Simple...

Its a fun tournament with a Prize of £50 GBP or 500 SEK to the winning team. The winning team also get mwh dog tags which will be engraved with their names and the Tournament Victory.

How does it work?

The tournament is open to all mwh players, as well as any other clan or player who is registered or registers on the mwh website.

Once registered, all you have to do is attach your name to this topic by posting your name and that you want to play.

Once all players have declared their interest, you will be randomly put into teams of 4 players. Once you have been allocated to a team, you will need to jointly pick a team name and a squad leader.

The tournament will be run on a bracket basis, its simply a knock out tournament and Winners take all.

Rules

Standard BFBC2 gaming rules. but no vehicles or Engineers. You are all on foot, no tanks or helicopters or quad bikes. Its classic FPS boys or girls.

We all play on mwh rackage server and Council and Admins (if they want to) will referee matches.

Each team gets to pick a map and game mode. You only get one choice so its either rush or conquest and you pick your map. Both teams will play each map attack and defend. So thats four rounds.

You have one month from point that bracket goes up to get your match played. You offer your opponents 3 dates (1 must be a weekend on a Saturday / Sunday). You can field 3 players if the 4th does not show up however you will go in with a handicap.

Once the brackets are set the team on the top must organise and the team on bottom must accept or work to find a date. If after all effort the date cannot be agreed then the top team goes through.

You must have a headset and you must be on the mwh TS3 during matches. All comms between teams via PM on the website or voip on TS3.

Referees decisions are final.

The minimum number of players to have the tournament is 16. Registration for the tournament closes at the end of April.

I've still to decide wether to participate, but think i'd just rather spectate an event like this, I'm badly behaved enough without money being involved heh.
